Snorkeling is a great way to
experience the underwater charm of the Bahamas without needing the experience of scuba diving. It is also less time consuming and relatively cheaper than scuba diving as well. With over 700 Islands and Cays, it is a wonderful way to experience t he beauty of the Bahamas. Being experienced or inexperienced, one could enjoy exploring the many reefs and formations for many hours. The warm, tropical and crystal-clear water, the coral clusters of the underwater sea gardens, caverns, and colorful marine life of the Bahamas await your exploration. Most hotels offer gear and instructions for your adventure (feel free to bring your own gear). Check with your hotel for local tours and excursions that can take you to some of the more interesting locations. Or just grab your gear and head for the water.
